Default Brembo/PBR Ceramic Front Brake Upgrade Kit

Alright...

This special is just for 318ti.org folks.

I put together a front brake kit that uses slotted rotors from Brembo Sport, PBR Ceramic Pad Set (AXXIS), and an OEM sensor.

I am currently running this set up on my Z3 coupe and my E46 wagon and it is amazing. The E46 sees track use with this set up also.

I have 2 options:

1) For 318ti's with stock front brakes from before 4/1998 $139.99

2) For 318ti's with E46 325/328 front brakes (300mm rotors) $159.99

The rotors are only gold in color till you use them, it is a coating brembo uses to keep them from rusting.

For those of you that want to upgrade to the E46 set up, I can source the carriers and calipers needed.

Do you have vented rotors up front now? In 4/98 BMW went to vented rotors on the ti.

Default E46 Upgrade Pricing

Alright, I do not deal in used parts so no flames about pricing.

The early ti's will need new calipers and new carriers.

NEW ATE Calipers: $450.00

NEW Genuine BMW Carriers: $250

The late ti's will only need the carriers.

Default Rebuilt Caliper Pricing...

I found a source for rebuilt ATE calipers. I can do those for $150 a pair for those wanting to do the E46 (300mm) upgrade.

I have a limited number of each type of rotor when they are gone they are gone. I bought Brembo out of the last of each type and they have no plans to produce anymore.

Interested, can I get matching rear rotors? I need all pretty soon and really want to upgrade. Is there any option for coating? Have any experience? I painted the hats on my previous set of Brembos and they stayed rust free for about .1 milliseconds in the Cleveland salt.

The rear rotors are not availiable. I can set you up with a set of stock rear rotors and the PBR pads.

There are no coating options. I can tell you that these rotors with this coating have been on my coupe for 3 years and they have yet to rust.

When I paint rotors I use engine paint, several coats, and I prep the surface well.

Just to clarify, the e46 rotors are vented and larger in diameter but same in thickness as my vented Ti rotors? So I use same calipers, same pads. Does this mean same stopping power but slightly better looks or is there a performance gain to doing the e46 325/328 rotors?

Thanks for the info on the coatings. My last set was maybe 5 years ago, not sure if they coated them. I used hi temp spray paint, maybe I would try and use a brush on caliper paint or something more quality like Wurth.
