Default Clutch Emergency

I'm in the process of replacing my clutch. Can't get the transmission out. It moves 5/8" of an inch & stops. Does the starter have to be removed to pull the transmission??

If I have to remove the intake, I'm burning the car tonight.

After exhaustive internet research, I believe the starter is stuck on a dowel on the bell housing. I'll try tapping it out tomorrow.

Starter is the first thing that needs to come out.
I had to drop the transmission a little to access the starter torx bolts.
Unfortunately I also had to remove the intake to access the starter.

Default FIXED IT !!

yes, it was stuck on the dowel. I banged it with 2 12" 1/2" extensions & off it popped off.
