Someone asked me about buying these manifolds a while back, but I deleted my PMs. If you are out there and still interested, just let me know, I'll end the auction for you. Thanks! __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 10-26-2006, 01:09 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | what pretty castings | | | 10-26-2006, 01:13 AM | #3 | doesn't care about you. I took mine down a few months ago.....to explore......and decide it would be too much of a pain to even try to work something. BMW made it specifically for the M44 with the 2 stage valve for that extra 9lbs/ft extra torque compared to the M42. I was thinking of trying to put 2 throttle bodies, side up, without the top runner, but couldn'r find the right TBs and worth the extra money. Good Luck with the sale....... __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | 11-03-2006, 12:15 AM | #7 | doesn't care about you. I think you should put it on Ebay, I've seen quite a few sold there. It's actually a very unique system, will only fit on the 1.8/1.9 engine and not the smaller 1.6 or slightly larger 2.0. It was BMW's way of offering a bargain basement VANOS, but on the intake system not valves..... __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | 11-03-2006, 12:45 AM | #9 | doesn't care about you.
