So i recently installed a 3button obd1 alarm in my 96, I synchronized it and everything by removing the chip and inserting it into the brain. Everything works, it unlocks and locks and is cool. So I have a few concerns. 1) On the 3button remote the middle button is suppose to double lock the car, I arm the alarm first then double lock the car. After a few seconds the alarm chirps and and goes off... What gives?? 2) When arming the alarm without double lock, the light does not flash stating my alarms armed. What do I do to fix this?? 3) Is there anyway to wire the parking lights to flash when I arm the alarm? Thanks everyone for your help! | | | 01-18-2011, 09:37 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | yeah there is a way but you would have to have the wiring diagram for it. why don't you just use the OBD II alarm that you said you have? ... make everything complicated man. :-p __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! Double lock works with key in the the door. Wait which output for the flashing lights? | | | 01-19-2011, 04:22 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Orange County, CA Posts: 2,019 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak that's how it works on mine, it also won't work without the doors locked | Well when I locke my car, the flashing led won't.
