Default 17" Wheels (not chrome!)

Somebody please buy these so I'm not so tempted to drive to PA and pick them up! LOL

Hmmm.... I've already e-mailed the seller, but does anyone know if these would fit on a 318ti? I don't see mention of an offset amount in the E-bay listing. And are the tires the proper size for our cars?

JMJ, trying to talk himself out of bidding.

I'm not sure about the offset, but the tires are definitely the wrong size. They should be 235/40/17.

Cheers,

The seller couldn't provide even the most basic info. Sheesh.

Does anyone know if these are BMW wheels, and if so, what the style number is? I think these are my favorites so far, now I just have to find another set.

They aren't an OEM BMW wheel. Also, just looking at them, the offset looks fine. Definately not too deep of an offset for our cars.

What is proper offset on ours? I have a set of M-parallels from my e39 540i that I am tempted to try on the new Ti. Unfortunately, I don't know of a good reference for offsets. There used to be a great BMW wheel site but he had to take it down "at the request of BMWNA".

They won't fit. Proper offset for our cars is around 38-40 mm, and the E39's offset is closer to 15 mm.

Wow. Big difference. I also remember some talk of those models having "hub centric" wheels, though I'm not sure what that means. Oh well. They should sell for $800 to $1000. I can use that money for something else. I want to get more wheel on the car, probably 17". I think 18" would be too harsh. Like to stay with BMW OEMs. Will e46 M3 wheels work?

Four fronts would fit, but the rears are the wrong offset. But E46 M3 wheels are 18" and 19", just to let you know.
