Does anybody know what is the standard wheel and tire size on the 1995 base ti?
I think it is something like 195/65 R 15 on 15x6.5 steel wheels
Or is it 205/60 R 15 on 15x7 wheels?

The steel wheels were 15 x 6.5 with 185/65 -15 tires. The alloys were 15 x 7, I think with 195 or 205's. I have 215/60 15's on my '75 911, and I even think you could fit 225's on that rim, but I don't know if there's enough clearance with the fender. __________________

Should fit fine. Go to tirerack.com and play with the tire/wheel selector. __________________

The sticker in the driver door frame shows the sizes that camae on the TI.

i got alloy 15x7 wheel , and i got 205/65/15 tires on it
bmw recommends, 205/60/15 for the alloy wheel. __________________

i also run 205/60R15 on the 15" steels. i had blizzaks that were 185/65R15, and found no appreciable difference between the two widths.
there is a thread about winter tires (green diamond) that you may want to check into for brands. __________________
