I somewhat agree?

I rather have you/car off the streets for a while than to kill someone.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

I'm still driving my car. So how's that taking me off the streets for a while?

Yea but I don't think you'll be racing in those conditions lol.

That really sucks man. I wonder if that was the tail end of the storm that brought tornadoes to this area on Monday.

If that had been me and I was at my PT job, I would have booked it. Sorry, while the money is helpful, it's not as important to me as my car is. And if I'm at home when something like that comes up (provided it's not the middle of the night while I'm asleep), I'll hop in the car and head to the garage at my FT job.

Don't feel bad about only having liability either. Sometimes you have to make compromises and pray for the best. I can't afford full coverage right now, but it's mainly because of the speeding/reckless driving ticket from almost three years ago. The points are off my driving record, but it doesn't drop from my insurance record until this fall. Hoping to bump to full coverage then.

dude, thats awful, it looks like a car involved in a driveby in compton.

Not to rub salt, but if youd told him you were moving it and it cost you your job, at least youd still have a driveable vehicle to look for another job. I woulda took the chance.

Guys, it's easy to say "I would've" or "You should've". But honestly, Joseph only had a couple minutes to make a decision that in all actuality, he couldn't have possibly known the outcome of. The only thing he knew for sure was that if he left he would likely lose his job. All I can say to you Mav, is lesson learned. While your supervisor does have a certain amount of authority, there comes a point where you need to stand up for yourself, but do it in a tactful/respectful manner. Had you approached this guy and said, "I'm going to move my car, I'll be right back" vs. "Can I go move my car, it'll just take a second", things might have turned out differently. The important thing to remember is that you were a man before you were an employee and if this guy doesn't want to respect you as such, you need to set him straight, even if it means losing your job.
