Default clutch slave cylinder or throw out bearing

ive posted before and i cant get a response so im trying agian. any help would be appreciated

1) what symptoms do you have when a throw out bearing is going bad or a clutch slave cylinder?

the car drives fine, no missed or slipped gear changes but i have a droning sound at times while driving. Plus when clutch is engaged you can feel pulsing

Hmmm... not sure if those noises could be related to either of those components. My slave was in pretty rough shape when I swapped my engine, very loose and felt worn when operating by hand... all I noticed while driving was what felt like a weak clutch; some delay in the friction point that felt like slipping. Of course, the clutch was relatively worn when I looked at it...

A bad throwout bearing should only make noise while the clutch is depressed...this is the only time it's bearing any load.

I'm curious about ths "pulsing" you feel... can you describe it better? is it at all positions in the pedal's range of movement, or just when fully depressed?

snuggz the the pulsing only comes when the clutch is depressed. the only thing that i can think of that may match it is like having a semi empty can of spray paint and turning the can in circles so that you feel the ball moving around inside in a circular motion. and the sound would sound like that to a degree. clucth pedal feels ok. it rebounds quick but when depressed you can feel what i can only discribe as the revolutions from what i guess would be the flywheel.

Okay... well, the bad TOBs I've seen are usually quite audible, and the pulsing is something I've never experienced but definately makes sense...

What's this other noise you hear? What throttle position are you at when you hear it?

the sound comes the minute the clutch is pushed in and its a swirling sound and feel. what are the symptoms of the slave cylinder going bad cause i think im going to try and change that out first before i jump into changing out the clutch itself. what do you think? try and give me some possibles and ill try and narrow it down
