Hello... How are you doing? I saw a pair of M3 replica sideskirts made from high quality ABS plastic, wich accourding to the shop is identical to the OEM part. The price for the pair of replicas is 150 euros VS the 500 euros of the OEM skirts. At first sight, they really look identical. Are they a good bet? Or am I better saving a bit more for the original parts? regards! __________________ Portuguese 318ti MODS: Staggered M Kontours; Mtec Side Trim with M3 badges; Mtec Steering wheel with Airbag; M3 Modified Shift Lever; M3 Leather Shift Knob, Leather Centre Arm Rest; Euro Clear turn signals; M3 Electric and Heated Side Mirrors; Cat replaced by straight pipe; Mtec Rear Bumper; E36 M3 Front Brakes with EBC Drilled and Slotted Rotors and EBC Red Stuff Pads; Vader Seats. Yes, they have the jack holes and covers. Two on each skirt. Are they a good bet? Electric and heated and I think the quality is great. They are really identical to OEM ones and I paid 150 euros for the pair. Should I take a chance with replica side skirts? __________________ Portuguese 318ti MODS: Staggered M Kontours; Mtec Side Trim with M3 badges; Mtec Steering wheel with Airbag; M3 Modified Shift Lever; M3 Leather Shift Knob, Leather Centre Arm Rest; Euro Clear turn signals; M3 Electric and Heated Side Mirrors; Cat replaced by straight pipe; Mtec Rear Bumper; E36 M3 Front Brakes with EBC Drilled and Slotted Rotors and EBC Red Stuff Pads; Vader Seats. Posts: 52 | No, but what's the difference between a replica and the OEM parts. If it looks like the originals and fits, then I say go for it. | | | 04-21-2006, 12:38 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Portugal - Lisboa Posts: 205 | I guess i'll give it a try. If I don't like them, I can try selling them here in Portugal and go for the OEM ones. I'll post some more news when I get them. __________________ Portuguese 318ti MODS: Staggered M Kontours; Mtec Side Trim with M3 badges; Mtec Steering wheel with Airbag; M3 Modified Shift Lever; M3 Leather Shift Knob, Leather Centre Arm Rest; Euro Clear turn signals; M3 Electric and Heated Side Mirrors; Cat replaced by straight pipe; Mtec Rear Bumper; E36 M3 Front Brakes with EBC Drilled and Slotted Rotors and EBC Red Stuff Pads; Vader Seats.
