Things to check on a swapped M50 OBD1

Going to look at a 95 318ti with a M50-Getrag 5 speed. It started life as an auto. Other than the regular stuff to check, anything specific I should look for, or check on?

I would be concerned about how smoothly the drive train shifts and runs. Condition of the drive shaft? Source, age and maintenance history of the engine and transmission? Was a larger exhaust system installed to accomodate the larger engine? Good luck. John

Took a look at it yesterday. Body was tired to put it mildly. Clutch issues as well. Exaust was well done, but batt relocation to the rear was a hack, and not even mounted. If I was 18 I might have been interested, but I would not be caught dead in it.
