Hey guys, my name is Chris and I'm from Vancouver, Canada... I'm brand new here and just registered... I drive a 94 MR-2 Turbo daily and also have a 68 Mustang that's restored... but I've always had a soft-spot for the 318ti and as much as I wish I could import an E36 320td diesel from Europe it's not going to happen (thanks government regulations!) so I've been looking around the U.S. market for a decent Ti with low-ish mileage.

While looking around I spotted this particular supercharged 318ti that's on eBay and is modified substantially although it appears everything that was done was in very good taste and proper. The price is up there (especially given the mileage) but I am interested in it and I thought someone on here MUST have heard of this car before? Any one ever seen it or know anything about it?

Here is the eBay link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...224973802&rd=1

Any help is appreciated. There's also a nice one in Texas for cheap with low miles but I've fallen in love with the look of that one on eBay now!

Thanks guys,
Chris

Those hurricanes are not factory, I think he had them custom done with factory fabric though.

Yea, in the thread he made for the car, he said how much custom parts he put in there and those seats were definately not factory, he had them reapulstered after he bought the cloth from bmw.

Oh wow, sorry guys I did spend a couple hours of searching the site trying to find it on here (if he even was on here) before I signed up to post! Good thing I'm not a detective by profession!!!

Then again I had no way of knowing it had been offered for sale for 6+ months now...
