The hoses are old and most likely lost a connection or a leak. I doubt that it is an exhaust leak as the noise seems to be in the engine bay. Any suggestions to look for that might be causing it? 1) Exhaust Leak 2) ??? So the all the engine rubber is being replaced and looking for input on what to do about the Catalytic Converter? It seems that a new replacement will be $$$ and not sure if regulations allow and install of a used Cat and then there is the "Test Pipe" replacement which I am not sure will allow the car to pass emissions in Maryland.... Any historical suggestions that members have done and worked? A few members here went with aftermarket cats. I think that Magnaflow makes one that works. | | | 12-03-2015, 02:44 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Aug 2012 Location: Catonsville, MD Posts: 90 | Feedback Thanks for the feedback... I will have the shop put in a cat whether OEM or Aftermarket but a Cat for sure. How does the aftermarkets compare to the OEM?
