The motor is an M30

Loads of E30 lads have done this swap without problem.(though with a e34 motor)

It will of course need costom motor mounts and the wiring loom to be swapped out / chopped and customised to fit with the relavent plugs and so on.

But its easily possible.

All of you have lots of luck!!!!

In portugal, engine swaps is forbiden by the law...
Well, anything that changes the behaviour of the car is forbiden!!!!

You cannot change the rim size, if it isn't authorized by the DGV!!!
The brakes, the suspension, the LIGHTS!!! Even Xenon is forbiden!!!
You have to had headlights washers and automatic headlights control...

I wish live in USA!!!

And thats not the worse!
If your caught with ANY change in your car, is inpounded, you will have to pay, at least $366.65 of fine.

So is almost impossible make an engine swap here!
There's a E36 compact in germany with a M5 E39 engine!!!

I would like to live in US for some reasons:
I'm at high school in Electronics and IT Eng...

The salaries are good, but until you could get a job were I can get paid for what I studie is a pain in the ass...

In US the salaries are much better, the gas is cheeper....
Since I was a little kid I didn't like soccer (footbal in Portugal).
EVERYBODY in Portugal have to like soccer!!!
But I wasn't...
I simple love car's, I work as a car part seller as I study and as mechanic in my cousin shop..

So as you could imagine, my dream country is US...

PS: Sorry my bad english..

UK is great, but the simple fact of driving on the wrong side of the road... LOL

In Portugal, the basic health care services is free for all persons!!!
Is on of the basics of the Portuguese Constitution!!!

In my opinion, the best country to live is Belgium!!
Great salaries, the best's health car services, and one of the largest's car comunities in Europe...
