Air bag light

I just bought my TI a few weeks ago and one problem that I have is the air bag light comes on every time I start the car. After 2 minutes it goes away.

Any idea where I should look for?

I have the exact same problem with my car. I haven't been worried enough about to get it looked at but I would like to know whats causing it.

Well go to BMW dealer and let them reset the airbag computer.

it may be the mat in the passenger seat.

sometimes it sends a weird signal if its worn out

Just had this not too long ago.
It was the driver's side seatbelt latch.
You need to have the dealer or someone with the Peake Research SRS tool read the fault code so you know what to fix.

What month and year was your car built? It never hurts to include this when you ask about your car and often helps people better answer your question.
