Default Gunk in rear wheel wells

I just did a brake job on my car and noticed quite a lot of gunk/mud buildup in the rear wheel wells near the wheel openings. I cleaned it off with my fingers and a water hose, and I'll check for rust when it is dry. Hopefully I won't find any. You may want to check your car for a buildup in this area, as it could be a breeding ground for rust.

Of course, I could be the only owner that hasn't been cleaning this area regularly...
