I typed "suspension" into the search and got pages and pages of results. Please search more. Coilovers, cup kits, spring and shock combos, its all out there. You can also search over on bimmerforums.com, just make sure that whatever suspension you find is compatible with the ti's unique rear suspension set-up. It is not the same as the E36 coupes and sedans. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 10-01-2008, 02:32 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Atlanta Posts: 50 | Spidertri i didnt tell you i couldnt find something. You'll have to measure the current gap then figure out how tall your sidewall will be, then get springs that will remove however much of the gap you need to. You'll also need new struts or they'll be shot within a week. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 10-01-2008, 03:53 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Atlanta Posts: 50 | Spidertri i dont wanna performance parts etc... (thats what i want) | | | 10-01-2008, 04:00 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | I'm confused as well. But i hope i answer your question. It's better to get some H&R sport springs with blisteins struts, as the stock ones will not work with these springs. Depends if you want the rake look you wont have to lower your rear. But i would check to see if the shocks or springs need replacing. If you wanna lower your rear as well you will have to buy a kit that inclues the set up for the rear. You have to get them for the Ti since they are not the same as the coupe/sedan. Blisteins and H&R springs are the best way to go. If you want coilovers i would go with ground control. They are more expensive then the H&R springs. Also don't cut your springs as this is the bad way of doing this. I would say save up your money and buy something that has good quality. | | | 10-01-2008, 02:52 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | another option would be to buy the stock springs off of a sport model ti, it will lower the car about an inch or so, and be cheaper since you won't need to replace your shocks if they're still good | | | 10-01-2008, 03:06 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Yeah, if you just want the look and not drop a lot of money, the sport model springs would be the way to go. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 10-02-2008, 08:23 AM | #12 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Atlanta Posts: 50 | Thank you very much for your answers.
