Default Fuel Pump Died: 218,000 Miles

Pretty good run - 218,000 miles on what I believe to be the original fuel pump. Stinks trying to get a cheap replacement though on a Friday night before a long holiday weekend! Even placing an overnight shipping order doesn't get it here until Wednesday. Kicking myself for not preventatively replacing it at 200,00 miles. I'd been pondering doing that for the last year+ and now my cheapness bit me in the ass.

I rigged up an old Subaru fuel pump to get the car back home.

Where is the fuel pump on these ti's, and how did you get a Subaru FP to work? Story please,,,,,, !! ( I worry about these things, since I have over 160K on my '96 ti...)

I just replaced mine after 156,000 miles. It was under the rear bench passenger side. Just lift up the back seats and theres a black cover you need to unscrew. Then just twist the black cap off and lift it out. Protip: don't have a full tank of gas like me when you do this :P

Pretty sure theres something in the knowledge base about it
