Default Gatherings in the SE??

Are there any gatherings or shows planned for the SouthEast any time soon? If not, why not?

Heck... if there's interest, I might be persuaded to organize a 318ti gathering here in Nashville. Twist my arm.

LOL... you must have seen me ask about that over at bimmerforums, right?

That thought had definitely occurred to me, but I was thinking about something more local to Nashville since that's the area I know best. And not necessarily a "group drive" though that would be cool.

But, hey... I'd love to experience The Dragon some time. Perhaps if there's someone who knows that area really well, I could organize a group from here to drive over and meet up with the folks local to the Dragon.

So yeah... I'm open to suggestions, ideas, etc. Bring 'em on!

I've seen several, probably 10 in the past year or so. But, I only know a couple of the drivers personally.

My parents are buying a share in a mountain house in Tryon, NC. From the looks of it, it seems to be about an hours drive from the Dragon. If we got everyone to meet up at the Dragon, we could get a few runs in and then go back and rest at the house, so you wouldn't have to do as much driving in one day.

I'm game... if it's a weekend day I could run over there, the dragon is 2 hours from here...

Dunno if my car is game though... still haven't figured out the engine weirdness... maybe I could borrow my wife's (it's an auto :-( )
