Default Replacement keys?

Has anyone found a source for replacement ignition keys with chips? Mine is a '98 318ti and the dealer seems to be the sole source.
Any other ideas?

I think the dealer is about it. Super convenient tho. Just had to send mine a copy of my DL and the registration and about two days later it was in.

Just got one Monday from the dealer. Need your license and proof of ownership. Took 3 days to get mine in. It was like 70 bucks after tax.

the only key i had when i bought my current car was a tiny all plastic emergency key (didnt know that till i asked "what is this" at the dealership parts counter) they then told me it wasnt meant to be used allot and might break if i kept using it. i bit the bullet and ordered a key
