I'm going to assume you weren't the one drinking/buzzed?

Le sadface...

Don't let the insurance co. 'blue book' their way out of it- I would pressure them to replace your car in-kind, rather than settle for an undervalued blue book cash amount. Most importantly, I hope everyone is OK!

hate to be the one to say it but quarter panel damage is expensive to repair and the book value on ti's is pretty low, you might be looking at a total

Bummer man. I know your bro wasn't at fault and didn't mean for this to happen, but these things always seem to happen when someone else is driving our cars

As for the car not running well or stalling, it could be that the exhaust got pushed forward possibly damaging the catalytic converter and/or exhaust manifold. If I'm not mistaken, there's also crash sensors that may have activated and immobilized the vehicle.

Yeah i saw something about it awhile ago. theres something behind the drivers side door that is like a sensor to shut off the fuel to the car. is that true?

Dang! Sorry for your loss. I can't imagine that it won't be a total loss. I hope your brother's stiff neck gets better AFTER the settlement!

Boston Green?

Honestly I'm not entirely sure. It might have something to do with the fuel pressure regulator, yours is located down by the fuel filter which is undernesth the car just inward of the driver's door. Couldn't tell from the pics, but did the driver's airbag deploy? I think the doors are supposed to automatically unlock, the hazards and maybe the interior lights are supposed to come on, fuel gets shut off to the engine and a few other things.

I think it does mention it in the owners manual. I have mine right here by my computer, I'll check it out and report back. My cars a '97 also BTW.

I'm guessing $2000-3000... more (like what it's worth) if your brother has a stiff neck.
