Plug wires? Old? replace with above. Dirty gas/injectors--try chevron fuel injector cleaner. | | | 06-09-2004, 02:00 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: bris Posts: 287 | thanks again for replying to all my posts brucelee is there a reason why my car will run smoother at night time....i swear it is not my imagination!!...or drugs | | | 06-09-2004, 02:10 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 107 | Quote: Originally Posted by dodj thanks again for replying to all my posts brucelee is there a reason why my car will run smoother at night time....i swear it is not my imagination!!...or drugs | Other than a change in ambient temp or humidity, I can't think of any reason! | | | 06-09-2004, 02:13 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: bris Posts: 287 | cool thanks | | | 08-01-2005, 05:35 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Belgium Posts: 11 | dodj, did it work? __________________ FREUDE AM FAHREN | | | 08-01-2005, 06:30 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: madison, WI Posts: 402 | another thing that actually helped me is engine restore, it comes in a silver can and cleans and just helps to smooth out old engines again. I didnt think it would work when I bought it but I think it helped a little, that and run mobile one synthetic oil will help out the situation. another possible culprit could be a clogged cat converter. __________________ Mods: clear turn signals, Silverstar headlight bulbs, k&N custom CAI, removed A/C, lightened crank pulley, painted brakes, custom clutch stop, custom strut bar, x-brace, custom solid tranny mounts, Memphis sound system, Sachs sport clutch, B&M short shifter, lightened flywheel, redline MTL .... My car always feels fast right after I do a mod, but then I get used to it. I don't realize how fast it is until I race another car or something. It just puts things back into perspective. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
