Default Severe Vibration underneath car into cabin

Need some help with a problem that just won't go away.

The problem is that whenever the car is on in any gear (even neutral) and is at a dead stop or at extremely low speeds (less than 5mph) there is severe vibrations going on from under the car and can be felt thru the cabin.

It started about the time after I had some maintenance work done to the car. The motor/tranny mounts were replaced, as well as the guibo/flexdisc.

Around the same time, I noticed that the muffler would swing around alittle bit when I gave it some force. With some inspection, I noticed that some of the hangers were loose so I had those replaced.

About a week after that, the vibration begin. It was very slight, but can be heard. Then after some driving, it began to get louder and much more severe. Now my dad, who drives the car, is going nuts when he had to slow down.

We've had several mechanics inspect it, and its been concluded that part of the exhaust is continually coming in contact with the chassis, therefore transmitting the vibration into the cabin. They've tried several attempts to fix it but it just keeps coming back.

Anyone else have this problem?! Please help!

You should check the heat shielding around the exhaust system, if any has gotten bent from road debris, etc, and is making contact with the exhaust system, it could transfer vibration to the chassis. I had a problem similar to yours very early on in my ti ownership. It didn't seem as severe as your symptoms though. Haven't had any problems since I put the Supersprint cat-back on, I think it has more clearance than the stock system.
