I tried reading through your thread on your ti build up but it was too long, post the info in the anything thread if you don't want this one taken off-topic | | | 04-12-2008, 01:27 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Round Rock, TX Posts: 399 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak ok, up until you said that I thought "Boser" was the brand name for that hood, so how do you do it? Not to many here in the US has it but in europe there's plenty. All you do is weld two metal pieces to the hood and then weld the nose panel to the hood. That's basicly it. Not to bad. I did that job in a half a day with paint. I got lazy so the hood/paint is alright. | | | 04-12-2008, 01:38 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | that sounds easy, is there a kit made for it or do you have to custom fab everything? EDIT: another questions, is it possible to buy a cf boser hood? | | | 04-12-2008, 02:06 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | It looks nice man, good job. | | | 04-12-2008, 02:14 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Calgary/Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Posts: 379 | Probably one of my three favorite cars on the site right now. As for the cf boser hood, the only way you'll get that is if you know how to make cf other than that no go. Also you could mod a cf e46 hood and maybe that will work. When it comes down to it, it's all about custom body work. | | | 04-12-2008, 03:16 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Round Rock, TX Posts: 399 | Quote: Originally Posted by jgrimm Probably one of my three favorite cars on the site right now.
