Now 450rwhp is more so asking 500 at the crank. Depends how deep you want to go into building that motor, know you can stroke it to 2.1L or so but even then, I dont know, for that kind of power you may be better off going with a 6 cylinder swap. The only setup that could do that would be capable of those levels is the M122H. We could work something out if you really wanted. I can adapt the M122H KC Discharge pan, to fit the current gen Eaton MOAB Brackets, but it will be sticking out of the hood a good few inches for sure. Also comes down to what you spend, I mean if you can do the work yourself, maybe a few grand and a lot of work will get you going with the TC setup. Totally your call.
I'd rather not have anything poking out the hood, I've always been more into sleepers TC for me then, a t3/t4 hybrid should do the trick and those blighters a dime a dozen over here unlike the larger SC's which seem to start at £500 used and skyrocket from there. FI is still FI though so I'll be following this with interest will hopefully do things others find useful.

My motor will be getting built built. Already got an 88mm M47 crank (forged one from a diesel) sat on the shelf, will be running forged rods and 86mm forged pistons and a fair few extra tweaks along the way. Pretty much a DIY Metric Mechanic build. I'll start my own build thread when I have more than the current pile of parts to show, need to finish rebuilding the ass end on my wife's 118d first

No mods to the long block, just well maintained. Stay on top of the cooling system and oil leaks. I'm not easy on my cars either, they see rev limit every time I drive them. I also did compression test and leak down after I pulled it. Both were great and the exhaust valves looked good. Never had any kind of rod knock or oil pressure issues. But that engine always had 3k oil changes its whole life.

I've been drifting it lately and been thinking it needs a bit more. I didn't put this one together, I bought it with that engine and setup in it off this board. Only thing I changed was cat delete and long tube headers. I'll probably keep working through the compound setup on the other car, mainly because I've come this far already and it's also kinda fun watching reactions when asked what's done to it and I say everything. It also make some pretty cool sounds.

Any footage? Id like to hear this myself

I will be in touch with you Andakn, primarily was curious more on the tuning aspect of the MS5.2 ECU vice versa, I think if we can get some basics to do some maps going for the stock injectors & some #42ibs ones then a lot of people in the community will benefit from it, specially coming from someone who has done a lot of tuning in hand for the SC kits. Could you post some resources, the schmatics for the bench flasher etc when you have the time?

MisterM52, have you considered making m10 blower setups for the early model e30 guys? It would make an 85 318i actually worth having.

We are supposed to do an M20 and M60/M62B44 this year. After that maybe on the side we could do one for the M10, M30. If you or any one has that, let me know, I can always have some stuff sent for you to try to make it fit an M10 or M30.

Hello Guys, sorry about the delay, I had a lot of things at my own end as well as issues with little Red Rodolph, that and I am leaving for Germany by the end of this year, so wont have time for my own project car all that on another topic.

Now the Supercharger kits, the First MOAB AMR 500 and SC14 brackets are done. They will be ready to ship out to the testers who I would want to try things out and go from there. I have 2 superchargers here I can include for the testers. An AMR500, and an M45 Eaton.

Well besides the series of unfortunate events, I’m excited to see this thing keep moving. Persistence is key and im appreciative of your efforts for the M4x project. Surely Im not only speaking for myself on that!

I'm having a hard time finding a sc14, but I'm excited to get this rolling.

Will you communicate with tester about what we need for fueling, etc or is that on us to figure out?
