Sometimes the solution is just as easy as that. Other than that, I guess try 50/50 distilled water and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle. On a detailing forum I used to go on, I just searched glass water spots and someone suggested that you soak a towel with vinegar and then let it sit for a few minutes (4-5 mins) and use a toothbrush, then rinse it down and dry it. Hopefully that helps you out. -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Not so stock anymore!.... You will have to put in some elbow grease with a microfiber pad but it did finally work after nothing else would. I don't think you want any chemical that you can just spray on and wipe off, because it'd eat through everything else. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 07-16-2009, 04:17 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Northern Michigan Posts: 867 | Quote: Originally Posted by dguzzardo22 yes ive tried it all , i used rubbing compound and i think after rubbing the same spot for 10 min and still get only the slightest improvement im needing another method . so i then used a little harsher buff pad kinda like a steel wool pad and it started scratching the glass . no i have scratched glass in one area and spots on all the others. i need a potent chemicle to be like rub on wipe off and BAM no spots | a fine cut steel wool pad will remove anything from glass if not etched. If the spots are in fact water spots, they should buff out by hand, no scratching. Any pics? could also try a vinegar/h20 mix.... or a light acid/h20 mix...limeaway...CRL....be carefull... | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
