Default 98 318ti compact Onboard Computer

Hey folks. I have a 98 318ti. It has an aftermarket Alpine radio.

My issue is this: When I depress the turn signal stick I get nothing from the onboard computer.

Question one: Is the display for the OBC on the radio or on the dash?

Question two: If it's supposed to show on the dash, does anybody have any idea why I'm not getting any readout?

Besides a right rear running light that is out, this is the only electrical issue the car has.
Thanks in advance!

The OBC is the clock next to the radio. It should change from time to mpg ect. (if you have the OBC and not a normal clock)

Does the clock next to your radio work? does it change? if it doesn't work at all, try to look very closely to see if it's working but the display is dim/broken.

Thank you! That's it! The readout on my 325ci is on the dash, so that's where I instinctively looked for it.
