is there any kind of chip for the m44 since all i can find is for the m42!!

OBDII = No for direct swap chip. I think Dinan is the only company, but they have to program it, not just a swap. Where are you located in Florida? Fields BMW in Lakeland, Reeves in Tampa are 2 Dinan dealers that I know of here in Florida.

im in jax for 2 more weeks moving to OKlahoma :S
crap there is a nice chip for the m42!

Cool. Why you leaving if you don't mind me asking. I know there are a couple FI M3's up in Jax. I'm down in Orlando. Just call Dinan and ask them about the chip on the m44.
