Default Wiper blades

I am sure it is here somewhere, but which side does the short and long wiper blade belong...took mine off and reinstalled but seems out of sync.

Really? Installed 22D 18P. None of the auto stores didn't have any 20's so I went 2 inches bigger because apparently there is no such thing as odd numbered blades in my area which I think it's a load of bull.

That's what I used. Oh and to save some dough, buy them at Wal-mart or Target. Both those stores stock the exact same wiper blades as auto stores but usually for significantly less. I found that out the hard way...

+1, WalMart has Rain-X Weather Beater blades a couple bucks cheaper than AutoZone here.

I just bought a front pair last week. The Bosch book said 20" on both front wipers.

BavAuto lists 21", 20" and 18" Blades when you filter for 318ti, IIRC I used 21" on my Driver's side w/o any problems.

+1

21" Driver, 20" Passenger- but I put a 20" on the rear and it works perfectly without any overhang on the window and better coverage.

If you really want to save money, just buy the inserts. About $10 for two, but since they're different sizes you have to buy two sets. Still, that's a year's worth of blades for $20.

I just bought a set of rain-x latitudes and I love em. I got 21 20 and 18. However I had to adjust my passenger side wiper arm because the previous blade wasn't 20 inches and the new blade hung off the bottom of the window by about half an inch.

wipers are wipers.... if they fit on the wiper arms, they'll work... its just a matter of how much window you want wiped.

duh.
