8/25/2007

Dam header bolts are on there good and I broke one so looks like I have to start from the top headers.


Headers are off!


Disconnecting the tranny mounts and drive shaft.


Disconnecting the automatic shift linkage!


Pulled the Exhaust out


Getting ready to pull the M44 motor out!

very impressive, this stuff called In-Force (penetrating oil) is your friend on those header bolts
just curious, what are the advantages of the 328 dash? just cause it has the bigger glove box, different light switches, climate control?...

edit: just looked at pictures and it looks like you sprayed stuff on those header bolts, thats gnarly if they still broke

The 328 dash looks better to me and it would be unique to have in a 318Ti but I won't be putting the dash in my car because the coupe dash won't fit unless I do some mod which I'm to lazy to do since I have the motor swap and new paint job to get done. If I had a sedan dash it would fit with no problem.
