Hi, My rear suspension is leaking, don't want to buy new one because I'm getting a new BM car soon... So will the rear suspension from any E36 fit on the Compact? Anyone? Thanks SK __________________ This is how I look like... That does not make sense, do you mean the differential? All that is is new seals... Not that big of a deal. Hate to see someone make things too hard. Just a opinion.. I don't think BMW has used a solid rear axle since the early 1960s or late 1950s. You cannot swap in an E36 M3 rear suspenison. The two rear suspension set-ups are massively different. | | | 03-16-2009, 06:30 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Grand Forks, ND Posts: 14 | i was reading in a teardown book that the diff is with the trailing arm, and my 318ti does not have control arms in the rear | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
