Default Stock M44 Motor with Stock DASC Set-Up

Can anyone explain the what is creating the Dip in the Dyno Power curve for the Stock Moptor and Stock DASC System Set-Up. It doesn't seem that it would be the RRFPR that would create the dip but I am all ears on what it could be and how to resolve it without a ECU Remap.

Thank you,
Petr

Looking at the dyno charts I posted, my best guess is that it's poor fuel and ignition management. If you look up to about 4500K RPMs my car liked to run it's closed loop at 13.5 (most cars is 14.7), and at 4500 RPMs it goes open loop and steadies out right around 12 or less.

My setup was using a Split Second ARCII to control the fuel provided by the larger injectors (34#?), and my ignition was controlled by a custom chip that was tuned for 28.8# injectors, so it was anything by perfect.

Since you're working with an M44 OBD II, Nick G should be able to provide you with a custom tune that can do better than a Piggyback system.

Talking with Nick G... the dip is from the BMW aggressive Detonation programming. His programming for the DASC install adjusts for the detonation so that is why the dyno curves on DASC Motors with his tune are smoother verses the DASC and stock tune.

Default Experience with Nick G's Technique Tuning Reprogramming?

Anyone please can you share your experience using the Technique Tuning reprogramming. Please share which stage you used and any feedback you can provide on the reprogramming.

Thank you,
Peter
