Hella Horn wiring question

I was given a new horn, the Hella horn style from a friend with the following wiring. I've tried hooking it up through the diagram through the relay but i can't figure it out what so ever. Currently i have cut wire going from the horn directly the the horn's motor just to make sure the horn works and it does, but every time i try to adapt in the relay, i dont have any results. i have two relays so i tried both and im just having no luck. if anyone could give me a good description or any help let me know! for right now i have the stock horn connector wired straight to the horn without the relay, but that is probably a pretty bad idea. is the relay necessary, to prevent fuses blown, wiring melting, etc? i really dislike and dont know much about wiring and electrical things so i'm lost in the sause here.

wires include:
2 open wire to connector wire (not in picture)
2 connector to ground wire
4 or so connector wires
1 fuse wire
and the horn and mechanism itself
