Unfortunately not I did love how it looked but mine was also smoothed badly and the heat of exhaust had warped the plastic welded bit

Well it's been a long time since I posted! Not much has changed, I did have the exhaust custom made properly costing £400! but still haven't got any photos ! It does sound and look a lot better and don't have to worry about it coming off any more haha, also got hold of some new rear lights, I only have a few photos from recent meets etc just been enjoying driving the 2.8

There's a few more plans and things I need to do though including getting the rear bumper and side skirt painted, also the prop bearing needs changing I have the part just haven't got round to doing it, also eyeing up some new wheels AGAIN lol I miss shiny dishy wheels on it

Very clean.

You're missing out on some cooling without the ducting around the radiator.

Thanks, Yeah I did worry about that, but the alloy rad is much thicker than standard and it hasn't over heated.. yet.. haha
seems to run cool enough though, I do want to get another small gauge to see a bit more accurately what the temp is, I've heard the standard gauge isn't very good.

A stock shrouded aux fan would probably be more effective than the mishimoto fan. I am surprised you are not having cooling issues with that set up. I would be curious to see what the actual engine temps are. The gauge sites dead center through a range of about 40 degrees.

Meh I've heard of the standard viscous fan failing a lot, Mishimoto make some excellent quality stuff and the fan pulls a tonne of air through, I have pushed the 2.8 pretty hard since getting it on the road too and it doesn't seem to run hot even then, Still going to get another gauge to keep en eye on the actual temperatures though, Where would be the best place to pick an accurate temperature up from do you think? having a temp sensor in line in one of the rad hoses?

In my opinion, they're much better than the "fake" wheels you just had=) 16 is just too small for me regardless though

Haha yeah, I think they look even smaller due to the lips curving up and making the centres look small

Exactly how I felt about it! I'm still really undecided, I think I'm going to get the new tyres on them polish them up and see how it looks, If not back on the search for some wheels lol
