Default Odometer/trip meter read out gone !

Any body has an idea why my odometer and trip meters are out? Is this just a bulb/illumination issue or a dead LED display before I take the instrument panel out.
Car has 242k miles and still running very strong
Thanks.

You would still see the odo dimly lite if it was a blown bulb.
It's something else.

I can still see the numbers but very dim. The phone camera did not get it.
I may find the time this weekend to pull it out and also replace some blown instrument bulbs.
Thanks

Then I'd say it's a burned out bulb.
That bulb is on whenever the car is running regardless of your headlights.
While in there replace your bulb behind the headlight switch and foglight switch if you have fogs.

On my 95 the cluster connectors are very brittle. Be careful.
My 96 they are fine so YMMV.

I really hope it was just a bulb issue.
During daytime, I can vaguely see the odometer and trip meter and they were both working as the mileage changes.
This was when the sun hit the display at a certain angle.
I will pull out the cluster tomorrow.

Are these the correct bulbs?
3 green base big lamps (P/N 07119905358)
2 beige base lamps (P/N 62000391260)

Post 6 may help.
I'm sure there is an image of the bulbs somewhere.
