Default changing rear wheel bearings

Hi guys. Have anyone done it? My rear wheels bearings are shot and i have to replace them. Is it easy to replace it on my own? Or too many special tools required? Thanks

Unless you buy the $250.00 tool to remove the rear wheel bearings you should prob have someone who has the tool do it for you. The front wheel bearing are very easy to replace yourself though. I don't think there is a write up for rear wheel bearings in the knowledgebase but there is one for the front wheel bearings.

Im doin mine this weekend....Bmw wants 300 just to pop one out and pop a new one in...thats me taking the arm off the car and driving it to the dealer and putting it back on myself. One of the local shops said theyll do it all for about 200...you can also find info on how to do it by searching for "how to change the rear wheel bearing on an e30". Theres a couple of write ups on how to do it elsewhere.
