I respect that. Your car is still better looking imo than most on the road.

I lol'd at your license plate..how'd you get that.

Rims look good. Stance is good too. I could do without the vinyl or bra, but you will need a respray anyway after removing the bra and seeing the fading/scratches on the hood from it.

Nice car, I even like the tails

My plate is a vanity plate most states offer them for a little extra per year, Nh is just one or the cheapest so there is a lot of people with them, Nd the bra hides a lot of random little scratchs and dents that were already there, and the roof my clear coat was peeling and faded so that's why I wrapped it but i plan to go for a not so bright color when i respray . And I know its vw styled I'm a vw person not abmw person that just puts Oem stuff on sorry but there is absolutely no chrome on this car.

I think he's talking about the wheels. but, I'm old and forming cataracts due to looking at too much shiny stuff in the 70's.
Listen, I'm not a ball buster. I think your car is interesting. Full speed ahead young man. Do whatever you want. Have fun with it. Sh!t, we walked Pauly through this growing spurt too...he came out alright.

I meant shiny...they are a little flashy, I sensed the dubbiness in your styling. It's probably because the plaid reminds me of the seats in the newer gtis. And lol, I'm not a purist with strictly oem parts either, I'm doing a rotary swap for christs sake, I just think the styling is more suited to a gti and it doesn't really cross over into the land of BMW well. Like I said vdub can pull off silly (maybe quirky is a better word) BMW cannot.....its like putting James bond in an ed hardy shirt, sure he could rock it if he wanted to, but does that mean he should? It's a bit out of character
What color are you looking at spraying?

Lol how do you think I guessed right off the bat that you are a vdub guy? Because your "scene" is one of the easier ones to pigeon-hole....and idgaf what you do to your car, but if you don't want to hear what people have to say, why did you post pictures on a public forum? If you want compliments put it in your garage and whisper them to yourself and stay away from the internet...far far away....just for the record, your car is Goofy

Then why did you start this thread in the first place? I mean it's a little silly and immature that you're willing to accept compliments, but the moment a little criticism comes your way, you snap at people and throw a tantrum. Welcome to the world of public forums where everyone is entitled to an opinion. You keep saying that you're not looking for approval, but if that were truly the case, you wouldn't care what other people had to say and you certainly wouldn't throw a fit when they do.

Does the phrase "trying too hard" mean anything to you?
