A while ago my sunroof stopped working, and i thought it was the motor and i just got the chance to get a new motor. I installed it today and now it just tilts up, it starts to go back but then stops after about an inch. any idea of what can be causing this? even if the sunroof is not moving, is it making noise? .. (as in, the motor is running, but nothing is happening.. )
also, check to see if it is on track.. it might be off on one side, and the just gets jammed. mine is off track and the tubes are messed up in the front.. basically, it will jam, and the motor will keep moving and breaks things in the front. __________________ Check out our new website! https://soltechsolutionsllc.com/

Interesting issue with the ti sunroof. Does anyone know if you can completly remove the headliner and associated parts - but keep the sunroof in place (closed). I am "gutting the interior of my 1995 ti to use a as track car and need some advice.. it sound like something its either jammed or tangled up inside... sorry, no easy fix for this one, I think. if you are mechanically inclined & have the bentley manual - rip it appart and see what up - otherwise sacrifice a few bucks and have someone look into it. whatever you do - do not force it manually - you'll just mess it up more (from experiance).
