Default Z3 and 318ti TA's difference

My car is 316i with drum brakes. I bought rear axle with trailing arms but from Z3 M44. I read some opinions that Z3's hubs and rotors are wider. I don't want to sctratch my wheels in the fenders. My wheels are AC Schnitzer 8x17 ET35 and with stock trailing arms is close to the fender...
What exactly is the difference in the width between 318ti and Z3 trailing arms

The Z3 M44 trailing arms should be the same as 318ti trailing arms. The Z3 2.5/2.8/3.0 trailing arms are wider than the M44 arms. Look for RCV7's build thread. He initially used 2.8L trailing arms and the wheels stuck out too far.

You can cross reference parts using realOEM. That way you can see if the Z3 M44 parts you bought are the same as the ti parts.

The non M Z3 has 2 different TA's. The M44 Z3 TA is exactaly the same as the ti. The 2.5, 2.8, 3.0L versions have a wider track with for the rear so the TA's are different (wider). The disk hat is also taller because the hub flanges are taller (have more of an offset from the bearing).
