Default made some changes

recently my dad picked up a set of 205/55R16 Continental tires, which means I now have tires to run my contours on, so today I went ahead and painted the contours, they came out pretty good after being washed with an acidic wheel cleaner and two coats of primer

good view of two of the rims and my duct taped shoes, lol, I'm so classy

now, while I had the primer out, I figured I would do one more mod, if you're standing up, you may want to sit down for this...

I'll give you some time to get ready...

THE MESH IS OUT!!!!!!!!

I blacked out my grills and finally used the Cosmo Racing badge that's been in my center console since I installed the intake, the only mesh is in the seemingly empty foglight hole spray painted black since my air filter sits right behind it and I want it to get air (don't tell me it doesn't make a difference )

Good job on getting the mesh out. But take the other fog light delete plate so it will match or paint it black.

Lookin better Brendan. The badge definitely doesn't belong, but it's your car and it's better than the mesh. Perhaps it would look nice somewhere in the engine bay or on the actual CAI?

Next mod: "Street Glow" banner delete

I was thinking of putting the badge on my hatch, but I saw the ACS, BMWCCA and other badges in the grill and I liked the way it looked, since I'm not a BMWCCA member and I don't have any ACS parts, I figured that was a good compromise

I like the change but I strongle suggest that the next mod be your left shoe to match your right shoe!

well i got those badges with my intake, i bet they fall off soon anyways lol

it really does look tenfolds better though Pauly... once you get those contours on (and hopefully lose some stickers and red accents) - your car should look pretty awesome!

Definitely keep up the good work buddy. It won't be long before your car is in tip top shape and envied by other forum members if you continue to take care of it and fix it up little by little. I understand that there's starving students out there and not everyone can afford to drop the money that some of us have to make their cars look and perform like no other. If you follow mine and Bluebimma's threads, you'll see that it's possible to have a cleanly modded car at minimal costs. I've came across some outstanding deals and passed a few of them up, but most of the parts and mods on my car have been paid for by selling the original parts. I've actually spent very little getting my car in the shape that it's in, you just have to be patient and refrain from spending money on unnecessary and distasteful mods. If you only do the cheap stuff, your car will look cheap. Sometimes simplicity is a cleaner route to go.
