If the temperature is too low, the CD player and my Compact Drive MP3 player wil not come on. A screen scrolls accross my LCD saying "temperature too low" Quote: Originally Posted by cali-ti wow, it controls the traffic? sweet | __________________ 1998 (July) 318ti, 5-spd OEM Armrest Blaupunkt Heidelberg CD50 CD Player/Compact Drive MP3 Player Diamond Audio 5.25" rear speakers Navman ICN 530 GPS BMWALARM.COM (with comfort settings) after market alarm system Magnecor 8.5mm wires M-Z3 Shifter/Momo Knob Burlwood Dashboard Stromung Exhaust X-brace Racing Dynamics Front Strut Bar Carbonio C.A.I. 17" Rial Rims Vader Seats/Heated/Lumbar Support M-tech Steering Wheel/Front Sway Bar/Front & Rear Bumper Depos/w 6500K Angel Eyes/6000K HIDs Clear Corners M3 Mirrors UUC Light Weight Flywheel/M5 Clutch/M3 Clutch Slave E28 3.46 LSD/Mcoupe Cover/E30 Flanges & Halfshafts UUC S.S. Unplug and replug whatever you can (hard reboot). __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 02-22-2006, 06:41 AM | #9 | Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: SoCal Posts: 61 | Rover CD43 - Switching Frequencies Hi everybody. I am hoping somebody with infinite wisdom can help me out. I just won an auction for the Rover CD43 (BMW Business CD Blaupunkt) and am getting it very soon but had some additional questions. Q. Anybody on this board have this unit (bought from the UK/Europe) installed in their car in the US? Any hints/tips on setup or feedback to share including what harness to get? When I bought my Ti, it already had an aftermarket POS of which I wanted to get something more OEM looking. How easy is it to remove the radio on the Ti's? Anybody have a write-up on this? Q. How many security codes are on a security card that is normally given? USA Codes are supposedly 5 digits while European codes are 4 digits. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Q. I read that it's possible to switch from European Frequency to US (for use on the AM band) on this radio. It is done by pressing and holding the "m" button immediately after turning it on and a setup menu will appear. Toggle thru the selections using the ">" button until you come to world region. Use the "1" preset button to select Region (USA) and then press the ">" button to enter. Unit will now operate in that region mode. Then the next time you disconnect/connect the radio it will prompt you for the 5 digit USA code. Any help or feedback is appreciated. Thanks again! motorwerk | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
