Works EVERY time for me in anything from Hondas to Chevy cars to Diesel Full Size trucks.. | | | 12-02-2009, 03:28 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | It took me a loooong time to get it loose with the pickle fork. Just keep whacking, it will seem pointless but then all of the sudden it will just pop loose. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 12-02-2009, 05:36 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Charlottesville, VA Posts: 102 | I feel your pain, I did mine a few months ago and had the same problem. I spent way too much time on one of mine. Good luck. | | | 12-04-2009, 08:27 PM | #7 | Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 55 | Don't use fork Don't waste your time using a fork. I tried in vain to separate the ball joint using a fork. Buy a ball joint separator instead. It will save you time and do less damage to the wheel spindle. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...0070921x00003a __________________ 1998 Hellrot sport 318ti 2005 Jet Black 545i SMG 2006 Honda Odyssey (for kids and wives) Last edited by speedracerf4i; 12-04-2009 at 08:29 PM.
