Default Need new brakes and rotors

My ti did not pass inspection yesterday because of the front brakes and rotors. I need to fix this ASAP. Do you guys suggest OEM stuff or upgrade the front? I don't track just DD my ti anywhere from 50-200 miles a day.

I like modding and upgrading, but I need to do this by the end of this weekend.

OEM should be fine, Bimmerworld is running a deal where you can get brand new OEM rotors for $20

Holy crap, is that for the pair? I guess I'm going with OEM. Gonna order some right now.

ceramic pads would be best for low dust right?

Well, I just placed an order for 1. I hope it comes as a set....

http://store.bimmerworld.com/blowout...ors-p1076.aspx

It says "Priced per pair for one axle (FRONT ONLY)"

****, I'll have to call in the morning to verify.

Me too. I first did my white ti. Then sold that piece of wrecked s--t...
Now I wish I had bought 2 sets, shipping is cheaper me thinks...

I need them again, for my Green ti. I put Kragen/Checker top of the line ceramics on the greenie, but did not change the rotors. Now it is oscillating (?correct? word for vibration ? when applying the brakes, rotors are not true anymore) a little bit, wish I had had time to change the rotors too....
One thing I love about the ceramics. Absolutely no dust to clean for weeks at a time.
I did notice it takes a little more pressure on the petal though, anyone else notice that with the ceramics? Makes sense, since the compound is harder...

@Mopho, yeah i realized that too, it found that i actually got more stopping power out of my old pads that were just a few mm's thick, but it only took about 4 days for my rims to be almost black from the brake dust, so ill gladly take less stopping power for pads that got less dust
