I just had my rear springs and shocks replaced at a shop by used ones from some BMW's (not TI's). The mecanic said they are all the same from 1992-98. I think the shocks are fine but not the srings. They make too much noise especially when I go over bumps, up or down the driveway...etc. Almost as if they cracked or about to break. The car is also about 3-4 inches higher, which I don't like. My question: does anyone have stock or sports springs for sale? How much delivered to Toronto, Canada ? How much for rear and front shocks if you have them ? please email me at ftita76@hotmail.com Thanks for your help | | | 08-10-2010, 04:34 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | uh, not all E36 share the same rear shocks or springs. Ti's have their own set of shocks and springs as its lighter than the coupe, sedan, and Z3 rear end. So if i were you i'd go back to the shop and have them correct it. Reminder: You should always stick with 318ti components 99.9% of the time. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! I also have a set of OE sport springs and a set of OE standard springs. I'm located in Barrie so only about an hour drive from you. $50 for base springs and shocks, $75 for sports and shocks.
