Yeah that's the plan, hopefully it is okay, hopefully not having an oil change for that long hasn't clogged anything up or damaged anything other wise I'm going to have wasted a whole load of money lol

My friend who got me the engine from the breakers assured me that the car drove in and ran and sounded sweet. It was an older lady and the shell was rusty so he thinks it might have just been sat around for a while.

Looking great Mike! Good luck with the motor! This reminds me I have a few M50 manifolds I need to figure out what to do with. I had been collecting up parts in the event I was to do a M52 swap.

Interesting. Out here they are about $50-$75, plus your time to recover them. They are available pretty easy...

Just noticed. Total calendar shot for next year.

Love your friend in the shot.

Quick little update, received this little bush from the US which is meant to help eliminate some throw in the gears, the original one was badly worn and needed replacing so figured I would uprate it whilst I'm there.

Ordered some copper nuts for the manifold to make sure they don't seize on

Also got a few other bits turning up some gaskets and belt, need to order a new water pump etc too more to come..

Purchased this M50 Manifold Fitting Kit from a guy called Eric http://m50manifold.com/ I came across his kit after looking about on forums and he has lots of positive feed back and looks like an excellent kit. Just got to wait for it to be shipped from the US now

Also sent my ECU off to a company called EndTuning http://www.endtuning.com/ who are deleting the EWS and raising the Rev Limit to 7k, Also adjusting it to work better with the M50 Manifold.

Nothing really new to bolt on still waiting on my manifold fitting kit, Ran the battery cable though the to the boot, managed to route it all properly under the carpet etc ready for the battery relocation when the 2.8 goes in

Also a random angry looking picture lol

Created a hidden battery cut off switch last night for where I'm running cable to the boot to relocate the battery, I used a soldering iron to cut out the plastic to fit the switch in to the back of the speaker bracket, it will all be hidden behind the carpet and should look quite neat I hope

Part of the reason for the battery cut off switch is because the cable was to short to run it where I want to haha! so it acts as a good joiner but also a handy cut off.

If you put the carpet back in, how will you access the switch?
