Default mysterious little thing

what up guys...had a question about something that i have no clue what it is. i dont have a pic of it, but its not too hard to describe.

in the hatch....on the right side in the carpeted wall there is a little black plastic dot on the carpet about 1/2 inch in diamater...it is connected to a plastic line in the back of the carpet that runs somwehere in the car. on the little dot there is a litle picture of a gas pump. im assuming the line is connected to the gas tank somehow maybe? does anyone else have this in their car? its close to my dot for the prewiring for the cd changer. ive been curious about it for sometime!

any ideas?

someone was saying the "double-lock" feature also locks the fuel filler door. if that assumption is true, then having a manual release would be just like bmw anyone want to confirm?

So its that unmarked black dot? Your trunk looks different then mine. Im not sure if I have that black dot but I do have a second cover under the CD changer one for the BMW security system but why would that be there?

It depends on how the dealer programmed the alarm,
On my car button one locks the car, button 2 arms
the alarm and sets the double lock feature. You can
custom program each alarm fob as well.
