Is there anything that i can do to gain my radio back? __________________ K&N Cone Filter with Heat Shield, Racing Dynamics Strut bar, Blisten yellow sport suspension, Clears all around, Angel eyes, Dinan Engine Chip, Infinity BassLink 10" Sub, Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel | | | 09-14-2007, 05:25 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Calgary/Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Posts: 379 | That's an odd problem man. I don't think i've ever herd of a suwoofer making sound frequencies that interfear with radio frequencies. Is that even possible? Maybe someone else with subs has had that problem before. No help from my end though...sorry dude. PS: If you have listened to music without the radio (ex: CD or laptop) did the sub sound good? Is it a good buy? | | | 09-14-2007, 04:13 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Plano Texas Posts: 206 | I actually think its a very good buy, its cheap and easy to install and sounds great through the cd player __________________ K&N Cone Filter with Heat Shield, Racing Dynamics Strut bar, Blisten yellow sport suspension, Clears all around, Angel eyes, Dinan Engine Chip, Infinity BassLink 10" Sub, Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel | | | 09-17-2007, 05:23 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Plano Texas Posts: 206 | Can anybody help at all?? __________________ K&N Cone Filter with Heat Shield, Racing Dynamics Strut bar, Blisten yellow sport suspension, Clears all around, Angel eyes, Dinan Engine Chip, Infinity BassLink 10" Sub, Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel | | | 09-17-2007, 06:28 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: N. If its the same wire that works the antenna, there could be a problem. Wichita Falls is too far away, otherwise I would come over and help. | | | 09-17-2007, 06:31 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Plano Texas Posts: 206 | I dont remeber where exactly i hooked up the power lead for the sub but ill check that out. I think you might be right because i tapped into the power coming from the stock amp __________________ K&N Cone Filter with Heat Shield, Racing Dynamics Strut bar, Blisten yellow sport suspension, Clears all around, Angel eyes, Dinan Engine Chip, Infinity BassLink 10" Sub, Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel | | | 09-17-2007, 06:57 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Southern California - Orange county Posts: 978 | i'd check all your wiring __________________ 1995 318ti Cosmos Black Bilsteins w/ H&R Sport, Depos w/ angeleyes and HID 5K, 50% short throw kit, Custom fogged intake, AC schnitzer pedels w/ deadpedels, leather stickshift knob, vitesse tuning Ebreak boot w/ shift boot, X-Brace, 325/328 brake upgrade, Gray millpoint leather and cloth interior, custom computer multimedia system, and Style 5 BBS 17" rims, M3 Mirrors, CF Hood | | | 09-18-2007, 02:29 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | its off topic but i just ordered the same sub...how do you like it? is it a good kick? i have aftermarket speakers all around does it go well with the sound? __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 09-18-2007, 05:29 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Plano Texas Posts: 206 | Quote: Originally Posted by M3_KILL3R its off topic but i just ordered the same sub...how do you like it? is it a good kick? i have aftermarket speakers all around does it go well with the sound? | I'd say its a pretty good buy, the only downside i've had is that i can't get radio reception but other than that for the price i say its worth it. __________________ K&N Cone Filter with Heat Shield, Racing Dynamics Strut bar, Blisten yellow sport suspension, Clears all around, Angel eyes, Dinan Engine Chip, Infinity BassLink 10" Sub, Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel | | | 09-20-2007, 12:33 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: N.
