Unhappy Put the TI into a curb

So last night i went to the movies, and got out around midnight (PT). We got a pretty good helping of snow and ice here in the last week, here in Oregon. And so i was taking my date home and as i was turning left into her neighborhood, i lost the back end and couldn't bring her back around before hittin the curb @ about 20mph.

So i got to her place, and checked the damage.. And i curb damaged the heck outta the 2 rims, and i'm in need of an allignment now, and the steering wheel isn;t straight...I'm so pissed off right now. I'll post pictures in a little bit

Is there anything else i need to double check so that i can make sure it's safe to drive for now? any help is, as always, appreciated.

Well, you must have bent something if the steering wheel isn't straight. Check tie rods and also (this may be hard to tell) the rear trailing arm. If you can't take it to a shop that has a lift. Good luck!

Bummer. I have a few sets of wheels if you're interested. 1 set of m3 doublespokes, 1 set of style 18's just like the ones you have with new dunlops mounted and a set of steels with snows mounted.

Hey there, you should talk to Kraln, a curb just jumped in front of him as well. So now he has 3 wheels for sale. He'll probably break them up for you since there's only three.

Yeah, I want to keep one of them as a spare, so it's really only two wheels. They have kumho asx tires on them with about 4000 miles (lots of tread left, very quiet on the road).

I'll send them to you for shipping + $50? They're the 16" ( http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne...ostream&size=o ) and the ones I will send will not have a huge chunk missing, promise

Kraln- you sure those are not 15 inchers?? I'm pretty sure they didn't make those in 16's.
I'm looking for one or two of those in good condition....15".

Those are 15s. You can see the 15x7 on the center section.

DustenT: Apparently I am blind *and* stupid.

15"s they are, and the offer of $50 + sh anywhere in the US stands. I'll take better pictures of all four wheels + tires tomorrow.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.
