Default where can I buy an after market lower center grill for non M3

I checked bavauto. looks like they only have OEM.
anyone have an idea ?
prefer black mesh but willing to checkout other stuff...

I dont believe there is any aftermarket option for the non-M bumpers?

you could buy a universal sheet of mesh and just use that, you can probably find it in black somewhere

Has anyone tried a rattle can on the stock grill ?
I bet it flakes off pretty easy...

i did rattlecan my entire old bumper, including the grille. after aabout 1k miles, it had all chipped pretty bad.. but with better prep and maybe a harder clearcoat, it may be ok.

I did it on the chrome around my kidneys, I sanded them first and used primer for the paint and after about half a year there were only a few little specks where the paint came off

but if you're doing the one on the bumper, it's lower to the ground and takes a lot more abuse so I'm going to guess it's going to flake unless you really take your time prepping it and use a clearcoat

i did my stock bumper with a few coast of Rustoleum black and it came out great also did all my moldings the same and it didn't chip.... use the rubermate stuff they sell at home depot. Its like a ruber style of paint and its crazy strong.
