They are not built the same. I only see the enthusiast cared for models lasting and a lot less than the older ones. | | | 07-19-2012, 03:53 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Nor Cal Posts: 281 | Oh I fully agree that the build quality of the older bmws far surpasses the e36's but m42/44s can run a really really long time with minimal work and conditions out here arent that bad on cars apart from paint. 318ti's also arent plauged with the rear subframe problems that normal e36's are so I dont see them disappearing (from california anyways) any time soon. __________________ -Alex | | | 07-19-2012, 10:02 PM | #20 | Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Philadelphia Pa. AFAIK, no one has received a response which leads me to believe that either 1.) It has already been sold and the OP just hasn't come back to update, or 2.) The OP is not in a hurry to unload this, which is unfortunate... I have cash in hand! | | | 07-19-2012, 11:48 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Quote: Originally Posted by zoner I know of at least three other people on this forum, including myself, who have sent PM's or posted here expressing interest in this. What you guys think? | Several group buys have been done in the past for a substantial discount in price. The blowers are no longer available from Eaton, so DA no longer sells the kits. This one new in box was a rare find indeed. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
