Talking Im a newb

hi im new here. well ive been around bmw's my whole life due to my father being a fanatic. but he is a 5 series kinda guy (owns a '86 535is and a 98 528i) and me being younger and liking the sportier look, i like the 3 series. I'm 18 and i would like to start off my bmw career by owning the unique 318ti. i have about 4,000 to spend and i like the style of the 318ti with the ///M sport package. i was wondering what those go for so that i can i have goal to reach money-wise....and also wat are the major differences from the ///M sport package and the normal 318ti? also is there a winter package available because i live in the boston area and boy has it been chilly out the last week......

P.S I want a Manual transmision vehicle . im tired of driving my sister's auto volvo 850......

I think that only the 95 Club Sport models offered a limited slip differential, and the years after that offer Active Traction control.

They all got the same motor I believe.

I just bought a 97 Sport model with the California roof, 5-speed for $7,000. Definately an inflated price, but I'm happy with my purchase. My Cali roof leaks though, be sure to ask and check for that.

Mods, a link to this Ti Companion page needs to be put at the top of this "I'm thinking about buying a ti" forum too. It seems like a lot of people don't see it on the main forum index page.
